Because I have so much free time on my hands, I thought that I would start blogging.  Emmy and I are home together today which is rare for a Wednesday.  After her two day stay in the hospital for pneumonia, we decided that it would be best to keep her out of daycare for the week (although, you would never even know that she was sick).  As she is carefully pulling every diaper, sock and crayon out of her diaper bag, I will give a little intro into our family.  My name is Jennifer and I am married to the funniest, most handsome man in the world (at least HE claims to be the funniest...), named Jeremy.  We are the very proud parents to Emilia Claire (Emmy), who is the shining example of a two year old.  She is stubborn, friendly, smart, sneaky, observant, adorable and she has Down syndrome (pictures to come...).  Jeremy is the general manager of a French restaurant and bakery and I am in school to become a doctor.  Needless to say, we are more than busy.  Well, the diaper bag is empty and Emmy is now trying to climb over the baby gate, so I am going to say bye for now...
